After delivery of a Suncamper, it is the customers responsibility to maintain and look after their Suncamper. This includes on road responsibilities and other duties such as re-registering and insuring your vehicle. Suncamper only organise this for the first year. It is the customers responsibility to drive the Suncamper safely. This includes:
It is recommended that after the first year of owning your Suncamper and
every two-year after that, a Special Suncamper Service is planned to ensure
that you are caring for your vehicle appropriately. Suncamper will check
for things like leaks, rust and general wear and tear on the vehicle.
This is a free service Suncamper offers to members. The only cost involved
would be parts or labour if repairs or work may be required on your vehicle.
This also gives us the opportunity to replace any components that you
may have misplaced or add small conversions to your existing vehicle,
for example, a fold out table on the side of your kitchen bench. As you
would have travelled in your Suncamper for sometime, it is a great opportunity
to add any extras or further enquire about other services or specials
we can offer you at the time.
Due to safety and regulatory rulings, Suncamper must not allow the general public or customers to walk into the work area where vehicles are constructed. Customers must make an appointment and be accompanied by an authorised Suncamper representative if it is necessary to be in this area. Suncamper endeavour to keep all pricing up-to-date and as consistent as possible for the customer. However, as there are many components that go into the construction of
our vehicles, all quotations and prices are subject to change without
notice. All components of the Suncamper product, including the cab-chassis
are subject to dealer availability and stock accessibility.
Warranty on all new Suncamper Conversions is 3 years or 100,000kms (which ever comes first). Accessories within the Suncamper product (such as the microwave, fridge, batteries etc.) have their own warrantees that apply to the accessories themselves. All warranty books and pamphlets are given to you upon purchase of the vehicle. For new vehicles, the warranty starts from the day of delivery to the customer and is honoured by the Manufacturer and various suppliers of the Suncamper product. If your vehicle was bought from a dealer, the warranty still applies. The warranty is only applicable to the first owner of the vehicle and is not transferable. If you return a vehicle for warranty work, Suncamper or your Suncamper dealer will need clarify that you are the initial owner and therefore warranty applies. A Dealer or customer must get written authorisation from Suncamper if a
vehicle requires warranty work. Warranty work can only commence or be
completed after an authorised Suncamper staff member has signed the Suncamper
Warranty Form.
